Cabopino, with an attractive beach, picturesque marina and renowned restaurants is surely one of the most relaxing settings on the Costa del Sol. Located in east Marbella and surrounded by the officially protected sand dunes, Cabopino offers something for everyone, day and night.
Cabopino is well sheltered and protected from the elements, and artificial reefs on either side of the beach keep the waves and wind at bay. Lifeguards – on duty throughout the summer – combined with the beach’s gentle slope into the sea, make Cabopino child-friendly and safe. The sand is well maintained, clean and of a superior quality to other beaches along the Costa del Sol, making Cabopino the ideal place for people of all ages.
An historical fortified watchtower is located near the shore in the dunes which are protected for their natural beauty. Next to the watchtower is Andy’s beach which offers everything that might be required for a day out full of fun; plenty of sunbeds for hire, soft golden sand, jet ski and water-sports hire, snacks and drinks, busy restaurants and evening entertainment make this a perfect venue from dawn to dusk and beyond. In winter it is popular with kite-surfers.
The marina is of the most exclusive and beautiful on the Costa del Sol and is the perfect setting for the row of quality restaurants that line the perimeter. Cabopino’s reputation for elegance ensures that the marina really comes to life in the evenings and that the 169 moorings are always occupied by the most exclusive of yachts.
Cabopino is home to an exciting range of bars and restaurants, with fine cuisine from all over the world. From traditional Spanish favourites such as paella and seafood to international cuisine including Italian and Chinese, all palates and budgets are catered for.
The many restaurants are based in two main locations, chiringitos (beach bars) along the beach, and a host of restaurants of many different styles around the delightful, beautifully proportioned harbour. The crescent of bars are located as a secondary tier from the marina and offer live entertainment in summer and on weekends.
Transport links to Cabopino are also very convenient. Bus routes from both Marbella and Fuengirola directions have stops on the main road N-340 right at the entrance to Cabopino and are short walks away from the marina and beach. A large public car park is also located between the main road and the beach.
Immediately on the inland side of the main road at Cabopino is located the renowned restaurant of Da Bruno. Specialists in Italian cuisine, this sumptuous setting is perfectly secluded for those seeking time away from it all in style.
Also at Cabopino on the inland side of the road is Cabopino Golf course which is a hilly course which offers spectacular views of the coast in between the surrounding pine forests. For a full report of Cabopino Golf,
